If I give a donation to the church, will I receive a tax receipt?

Yes, we will email your contribution statements at the end of January. You can access your statements on-line. If you need it mailed to you please confirm your mailing address with the church administrator and let us know you would like it mailed to you.

If I make a contribution to the church, how I do know where my money is going?

Financial gifts collected during the offering are deposited into Life in Christ's general fund unless designated otherwise. Special offerings are taken twice a month to provide support to various ministries which are announced in the bulletin beforehand.  Five percent of the offering collected those Sundays are given to the identified organization. You can use the memo line on a check to note if you would like your donation deposited to a specific fund or organization.  If you use on-line giving you will be able to designate where you want your money to go.

How long will it take for you to process my donation?

Please allow five to seven days for all donations (online, credit/debit card, check, bank transfer) to clear your account. If you do not see that your gift has gone through after one week, please contact a deacon so that we can investigate the issue.

Can I give a cash donation and still get tax-deductible credit?

Yes, you can. Place your cash in a sealed and clearly marked envelope with your name, address, and contact information.

Additional questions?

Please direct your general giving questions to your deacon team member.
